The “Fit” in SKILLZ Fit® stands for Functional Interval Training. This is the concept of rotating fitness skills in intervals that are more functional than most fitness programs. This program is designed to provide YOU with a full-body training regiment targeting eight fitness skills.
Here are the four types of classes and the skills covered in each class:
Class 1: Fundamentals and Functional Fitness
Class 2: Endurance and Cardio Strength
Class 3: Strength and Stretching
Class 4: Performance and Core Strength
Here’s what to expect from start to finish:

First: The Warm Up. This section helps clear the mind of outside distractions.

You will work through a light cardio, strength, and stretching routine that will prepare your body for the next section of the class. This portion of the class lasts approximately 10-minutes. Although there are a total of 8 different warm-up routines that rotate through the curriculum, each routine may have some similarities simply because the body and mind enjoys a little muscle memory to kick-start the workout.

Second: The Workout – This section helps the student get in great shape fast.

You will enter a high-intensity training regiment that narrowly focuses on two of the eight fitness skills. This portion of the class lasts approximately 40-minutes. This is the section that is going to always be significantly different from the other 3 classes, which is the essential concept of Functional Interval Training.

Third: The Finisher – This section acts as a motivational builder and energy booster.

You will enter a second high-intensity training workout that provides one last “push” of training. This portion of the class lasts approximately 5-minutes. Although this section will typically exhaust you, just hang in there and give it your best effort knowing that your workout is almost complete.

Lastly: The Cool Down – This section acts as a stress reliever

You will work through a light stretching routine to help your body recover from the workout. This portion of the class lasts approximately 5-minutes. As with the warm-ups, there are a total of 8 different cool down routines that rotate through the curriculum, and each routine may have some similarities simply because the body and mind also enjoy a little muscle memory to recover and prepare for the rest of their day.
